This year the students will be attending weekly lessons in
the library. Each lesson will be of forty minutes duration. All students are required
to have library bags in order to protect the books that they borrow.
The Premier’s Reading Challenge will begin on March 3rd.
All students are encouraged to participate. We have an extensive range of books
available for loan from the Premier’s Reading Challenge shelf in the library.
Visual Literacy
Visual Literacy involves the skill of interpreting still and
moving images, graphs, tables, maps and other graphic representations. It
incorporates the understanding and evaluation of the manner in which images and
language work together to present ideas.
The library program, this term, will focus on the development
